Jason Wright is the editor and founder of Oddball Magazine, a Boston based online magazine and host of the Oddball Show with Jason Wright, a weekly podcast that features poets, advocates and “extraordinary people with extraordinary stories”. Jason is the author of two poetry books. His first, A Letter to the World published in 2015 by Tell-Tale Chapbooks was an introduction into Jason’s poetry. Jason’s second book, Train of Thought, was self-released through Oddball Magazine Publishing in 2019. In 2018, Jason received acclaim when he participated in the This Is My Brave Speaker series in Boston and featured in the “Principal Pictures produced documentary” that followed him and three other cast members through the show's production. A tireless advocate for mental health reform, Jason works as a Certified Peer Specialist and has been a keynote speaker for both NAMI Walks and the Americans for Suicide Prevention.
Marcus Pierre received his associates’ degree from Massasoit Community College and is now attending Bridgewater State University majoring in psychology. He relishes being a spoken word artist. “To me, the spoken word is an expressive art form that is aimed to raise spirits. The intent behind my pieces is to encourage, educate and entertain those who choose to listen to them. They also embody the love of God and spiritual nourishment”.
