We Did it for you: Women's Journey Through History - There was a time when women had no rights in America. This is the story of how it changed, told by those who were there. "Catchy musical numbers, a dash of comic relief, and a huge history lesson on feminism!" Hometown Weekly Musical director Carolyn Waters Director and choreographer Kerri Cooper

“So outstanding, I got goose bumps and cried. Much better than just reading about the women in a book.” - Lilly Ledbetter, Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act

“Amazing show—stories that we NEED to hear, now more than ever!”

FRANCES PERKINS EXHIBIT ON DISPLAY BEFORE AND AFTER SHOW

Before the show, come see the lobby exhibit about Frances Perkins, the first woman appointed to the U.S. Cabinet and longest serving Secretary of Labor (12 years). Frances Perkins was the driving force behind many of the groundbreaking New Deal programs that are still the foundation of the American social safety net — Social Security, unemployment insurance, the 40-hour work week, and the minimum wage. Thank you to League of Women Voters of Needham  and the Frances Perkins Center.
