Dear friends and family—
I will be reading for the Sacramento Poetry Center with three terrific poets via a Zoom meeting this coming Monday, May 25, 2020 (Memorial Day) at 10:30 pm Eastern time.
Click here for the link to the Zoom meeting. You’ll need to paste or type in this password: spcsdv2020.
The other readers are Tony Brown, Lea C. Deschenes, and Victor Infante. We will each be reading for about twelve minutes.
I
will be reading some new poems I’ve written in response to the outbreak
of COVID-19, including “Emily Dickinson and the Pandemic.” I’ll also be
reading some earlier poems including "Love Song for John on Route 140,
Coming Home from Peterborough."
We’ve
been invited to read by Len Germinara, former impresario of the
Nantucket poetry scene. Many thanks to him for the invitation, and to
Sarah Oktay, for designing the poster.
