Jotting down a quick story from the summer as August and the hottest weeks of summer (hopefully) die down.
Blue Hill Avenue can be a long patch of road before you get on to Milton and 95 South. One such day, it was excruciatingly hot. Plus traffic was made even worse for some reason.
It wasn't until I got closer to the end of Blue Hill that I found out why.
There were people running out to the road where cars were and offering bottled water for a dollar.
It was a local church fundraiser flash mob.
One of them held up a sign that said, Water for Jesus!
Of course, I bought a bottle.
