So Marvel is possibly coming out with a sequel to the much maligned Spider-Man: Reign. I'm going to be contrary and say that I don't hate Kaare Andrews' story as much as others do. Spider-Man has arguably been a broken character for years, so I welcome any attempt to put him back together. Even if it was grim and gritty, it was certainly better than the entire Clone Saga.
Also, it introduced the idea of longtime nemesis J. Jonah Jameson
becoming a friend and ally. I had never seen that idea expressed except
in maybe a "What If" story or two. Of course someone incorporated in the current Spider-Man timeline. Such a rich idea, how could they not?
