NaPoWriMo, Day Twenty-Four, Poem Twenty-Three

How to Unalive a Man

Leave him
alone

and just
watch

while
everything

he set
in motion

years
before his

hands ever
reached you

wears him
away.

Remember
for men

their souls
fade much

faster than
their looks.

Not that it has anything to do with your poem, but there's an old Zen saying:
Trying to find yourself is like trying to scratch your foot while your shoe is still on.
