Aside from the poem I featured last week, I couldn't find any poems online about Jeffrey Epstein written by women. That's really messed up. So I decided to feature a poet who has always written about women.

Nike Truth understood the assignment this past Wednesday. March was officially kicked off. Here's the video for proof.

Any set that ends with Prince music gets me excited to fit him in the poem. I didn't get as much as I wanted to, but it will do.

 

It's weird not having a Stone Soup end with James Van Looy ending the open mic set. Hopefully his mic will be fixed next week. Happily, Jamilla Van Dyke Bailey was more than a suitable replacement to close us out.

 

 I had fun this week. It's so rare nowadays. It forced another less depressing poem out of me.

Jamilla VanDyke-Bailey did an amazing job as this week's feature. As with last week, the feature started off the night with the open mic following. I didn't want to try to write in the voice of a woman, so I encourage you to listen to Jamilla's set and buy her book the womxn to get that full experience. 

 

I did get my title from James Van Looy, just like last week. Maybe that's what happens from now on when the features starts first.
