"The Devil and Daniel Mouse" was a TV special on and off for part of my childhood. I always associated it with the block of specials around Thanksgiving and Christmas, but this cartoon debuted on October 5 in 1978, which makes much more sense regarding a cartoon about a folk singing mouse who makes a deal with the Devil.
