My series The Tuesday Poems is how I kickstarted my Patreon years ago. By early 2025, I knew it had to end. It became a form of laziness to continue adding to the project and not start anything new. So I ended it.
I new writing poems based on my worst working experience ever would get me a lot of mileage, but there were limits. Arguably I started hitting those limits back in 2024.I'm glad I was sensible enough to stop.
I didn't even have the sense to group them as a collection on Patreon when I started writing the poems all the way back in 2022. I will be doing that soon as I figure out what final form these poems will take.
I kept telling myself that if I made a final collection of these poems exclusive to Patreon, not all of them would be collected unless serious revisions were made to some.
The worst thing about the series towards the end were the photos. I ran out of ideas of what kind of photo to include with each entry to the point where I started to repeat myself. No wonder I started using one graphic per series moving forward.
We'll see if I involve a publisher or just go it alone in 2026.These were necessary poems to write. They just might not all be necessary to publish.
