An Early Moment of Comics

Gerry Conway passed away a couple of days ago. I saw his work sporadically in the eighties (a few issues of Firestorm), likely seeing more of his work via television and cinema. I didn't pay much to writers for a long time. The first time I ever noticed his name was in Spectacular Spider-Man Annual #8, where he closed the chapter on Gwen Stacy via a supposed clone.  

A Moment of Comics

I'll be doing comics tinged with horror for October. Remember that issue of What If? when Wolverine became a servant of demons and ate a baby? From What If? Volume 2, number 6, "What If The X-Men Had Lost Inferno?" Written by Danny Fingeroth with pencils by Ron Lim and inks by Keith Williams. An alternate universe tale, but it was memorable as hell. I devoured the Inferno storyline when it came out.
