Opportunity Knocks (or Sends an Email)

UMass Boston just informed Margaret Nairn Wesel that their Jack Powers collection contains duplicate copies that have to be removed. This includes copies of letters, flyers and journals I never knew existed.

I'd like to find a second home for all of this, but the archivist in me wants to see what else I can do to share these to the masses.

I have ideas.

Thirty Days of Stone Soup Stuff

Today I have a  scan of a greetings card turned into a birthday card for me. It's signed by Jack Powers and Margaret Nairn Wesel, his longtime companion. No idea what year. I suspect the art on the card is Jack's as well. He created folk art under the name Jack Debris. I won one of his paintings during a charity raffle.
