A week after the Vagabond Lunar Codex launch to the moon, I have the Vagaboond Lunar Collection on my desk, and it looks beautiful. Thanks to Mark Lipman for the honor of being included in this amazing collection.

Ready for Launch

Mark Lipman sent a photo of him holding a print copy of Vagabond Lunar Collection. 

The original codex collection of this anthology is scheduled to be launched to the moon as part of the Codex Polaris time capsule project on February 27. 

Just tell Trump it's a missile, and hopefully he'll still let it launch.

It's only one of my poems, but it's a part of me that has a chance of being preserved well past my time. Even if aliens who eventually visit our dead husk of an orb (and the moon) can't interpret the language. 

I'm grateful to Mark for choosing me to be part of the project, and I can't wait to get my print copy in the mail.

My New Collection Cant Republic is Out Now

In 2020 at the height of the COVID lockdown, I started a series of erasure poems working from the speeches and writings of Donald Trump. This became the backbone of my poetry collection Cant Republic: Erasures and Blackouts, out now from Alien Buddha Press.

I'm Humbled

Shown here is a sampling of the discs of the various works of literature that will go up to the moon as part of the Lunar Codex project this winter. 

The Vagabond Lunar Collection, which I have a poem in, will be included in this launch. 

If I can't leave the planet just as things could get a lot worse, I'm glad one of my poems can get away.

Stone Soup Croutons is a weekly poem I write using lines and impressions selected from Stone Soup Poetry's open mic readers and features. I figure out a title (and sometimes the rest of the poem) later. You can read the other ones I've done since 2015 here.

You really should listen to it. Mark's opening piece and James Van Looy reading Nancy Dodson's final poem made the themes of this poem inevitable. I'm glad about it.
