Old Relics

I miss wondering around areas like Kenmore Square and coming across things like this that shouldn't even exist anymore, let alone be in such good condition.

Okay, One Thing About Tom Brady

Image Borrowed from CheatSheet.

This morning, I remembered this poem which recalled the New England Patriots Super Bowl XXXVI victory over the Saint Louis Rams in 2002.

Twenty years later, no Brady and no Patriots in the equation.

But we got the Rams.

For Super Bowl LVI, I'm rooting for the Saint Louis Rams.-

I won't be watching it, but I'll be rooting for them.

Informal Poll

Forget the "Is Brady done?' bandwagon. I've wanted to ask journalists this question for a while.

As a journalist, are you tired of having to pretend to give a f*** about Tom Brady? Yes or No

Post-Super Bowl Thoughts

Went late to a Super Bowl party with Molly just in time to see Trump’s favorite team win for a sixth, boring time.

As we packed up to leave, Molly said, “I was kind of hoping for the Rams to make that last field goal.”

Me too, Molly. Me too.

Go Team

Here we go with the Sports portion of Oddball Magazine.

(never thought I would ever say that!)

Here's Jason wright with the latest Jagged Thought, cheering on The Patriots for this Sunday's Super Bowl.

What's Old is New Again

Image Borrowed from CheatSheet.

Almost ten years ago, I wrote a subpar poem (later published in an early Bagels with The Bards book) that tried to comment on how strange it seemed that the elevation of Boston/New England sports teams into champions seemed to correlate with a horrible president in office (and yes, I'm talking to you, G.W. Bush apologists. If your guy looks good only when standing next to Trump, you should give it up).

It's weird what a few years will do.

Trading Spaces

An article about the New England Patriots' trade, and it's trading spaces with Jason Wright's Jagged Thought column. How poetic!

Let The Merchandising Begin

You don't have to be standing in the cold to join the parade (or the bandwagon, at least).
