The best I've been able to label Steve Gerber's politics is liberal libertarian. His views often came out through his characters. Most notably Howard the Duck when he ran for president.
All Kamala Harris has to do is steal Howard's "Get Down America!" slogan, and she'll have have this election in the bag. A page of Howard's politics in action via Howard The Duck #8. Written by Gerber with pencils by Gene Colon and inks by Steve Leialoha.

A Moment of Comics
This panel will likely resonate with the currently striking members of the Writers Guild of America. Godcorp's President Ned Packer and his thoughts on creatives from Destroyer Duck #1. Words by Steve Gerber, Artwork by Jack Kirby (!) and Alfredo Acala.

A Moment of Comics
It's October! Let's post some Halloween and/or horror comics this month! here's a shot of Lord Pumpkin from issue #3 of Sludge, a comic that was part of the late Ultraverse line at the also defunct Malibu Comics. Written by Steve Gerber and drawn with a nice Kelley Jones vibe by Aaron Lopresti and Gary Martin.
Lord Pumpkin is a villain we never got to see shine. Especially after Marvel bought Malibu Comics for their coloring technology and drove the Ultraverse into oblivion. The villain's visage alone demanded an epic story we never got since Sludge got cancelled after only twelve issues. Never got to witness dive deep with either him or his young sidekick, Pistol. Sludge is another book I may write more about someday, along with other Gerber titles.
