If You Haven't Yet...

"Because of the paranoia the 9/11 guys set off among the Levitican wimps in Jesusland, all you need to close this country down is enough quarters to make phone calls to every major airport and tell 'em you've left a bomb in their restroom, and they'll freak. Talk about getting more bang for your buck."

Donna Barr is the cartoonist behind such graphic novels as Stintz and Desert Peach. Very politically outspoken, her "Wolf Food" blog (put in as a sidebar link some time ago) has been an all-too infrequent joy to read until recently. Since the election (coincidently enough), she makes more frequent posts that are a pleasing read even to the allegedly safe blue states (As you can see by my Thanksgiving posts about my family, some of us see the state of Massachusetts for what it is, a liberal community hanging by a hair, about to be reconquered by the Puritans). It's nice to have someone like her remind us that no matter how much the left is screwed, we should never tolerate intolerant, hateful people.

Though I don't see any site meter on her blog, Barr hopefully has some way of seeing if her sites are being visited or read. I'd like to think she'd post even more frequently if she realized more people were reading.
