It's Out

  • The new Comics Interpreter came to my door sometime last week. I'm surprised with how well the interview with Tak Toyoshima holds up, even with the cuts (and everybody got cut with this one, given the fact that Robert Young is still losing money on this publication and couldn't put out anything with too high a page-count). I can only hope to get a chance to contribute to a sequel to the "Madness of King George" section. My brutal one-panel was pulled as the delays mounted and the prospect of another delay at Canadian customs seemed even more possible when Bush's first presidential win happened. I might have to make a New Year's resolution to try and say "Fuck you" to He-Who-Leads-Without-Leading in a more subtle fashion--but more often.

  • No sour grapes about the pulled panel. Young still did right by me this issue, and I might have an alternative outlet already. I'm more bummed now that TCI 4 might not happen for another year if ever. The book is on hiatus until these books sell, I guess. So be a dear, whydoncha, and click the link on the right to visit the site and buy a couple of issues.
