The French Connections reading at UMass Lowell reading came and went, and I'm still basking in the compliments. David Surette said he really liked my newer work. Paul Marion handed out copies of his poetry book to everyone and said he wanted of the local readers to take part in Lowell's next Jack Kerouac festival. Everyone asked me to sign their contributor copies like it was a yearbook.
I'm too neurotic to have anyone write in my copy, so I don't have any proof of the event outside of email correspondence. I wish there had been some kind of flyer to put in my scrapbook.
Still, this was the first anthology reading we've had, I was part of it, and there'll be more to come. Just wanted to blog that.
