My history with Stone Soup is not a long one. As a result, I do not know a Mr. Video Blue, aka Blue Vid, aka Uncle Scam. I'm trying to ask around to find out more (like his real name), but whoever he is, I appreciate his efforts to put past Stone Soup videos (which he obviously edited) on YouTube. I hope he can come back to Stone Soup some day.
Click here for Vid's page and check it out. There are a lot of people in his playlists who otherwise would not have a web presence. Bill Barnum, Carol Weston, so many more. Vid even invites others to email him so he can put a name to everyone who shows up on his videos.
The clip I'm including below, is of Stone Soup founder Jack Powers, reading an article he wrote on a Bukowski reading he attended. It was one of the first things I heard him read when I started attending Stone Soup in 2003.

Video Blue is a street performer often in Harvard Square in good weather. He mostly works with puppets using an "Uncle Sam" theme. So once it warms up, it will be easy to find him. I've never known him by his "real" name.
This video is a real revelation to me. I never saw Jack stand with such poise and read so strongly in the years I have known him.
