Finished the day of teaching at the VA. Without getting into details, Ed and I had our hands full. Neither of us are venturing out of the hotel tonight. Glad I had my fill of bratwurst yesterday. Sated on homestyle cooking (fried chicken), we'll be heading to bed early, provided none of the rowdier people staying here start any luggage cart races down our hallway. We'll be heading to the airport tomorrow at noon and back in Boston by dinner, as long as the weather doesn't get crazy again (i.e. no 15 inch snowstorms).
My grandfather's in the hospital with double pneumonia. It's no doubt the result of his immunity being reduced to nothing from the same chemo treatment my father had. I can only wish him well and hope to talk to him via Mom's cell tomorrow.
