Ron Goba, my friend and poetry mentor, first featured at Stone Soup back in 2008. His last reading for Stone Soup wasn't at the Out of The Blue Art Gallery, but at Doyle's in 2012 for Stone Soup's fundraiser reading. His public readings over the last few years have been few but highly memorable. I'm promising you that this Monday night will be no different. Ron will be reading from a selection of poems he wrote specifically for this very feature, and copies will be made available to everyone who attends. I advise you all to get there early, as Ron will likely have to perform before the open mic's usual normal ending time at 9-ish. Please don't miss it.
