The State of Stone Soup, 4-30-18

Until this past weekend, I had no idea if anything was going to happen for Stone Soup's forty-seventh anniversary. I have James Van Looy and Jan Rowe to thank for contacting the Cathedral of St Paul (the location for many of their own creative pursuits) to see if they'd be interested in hosting Stone Soup. For the moment, Stone Soup now has a home again, as close as it can get to its original Boston neighborhood nearly fifty years ago. We will be gathering there this Friday on May 4 to celebrate our anniversary.I hope you can make it there.

I'm not wild about the prospect losing my Friday nights for the rest of my days, but I hope to honor all the people I wanted to schedule this month before I make a decision to only have Stone Soup twice a month.

I'm offering you all a chance to attend a poetry series that is actually in the city of Boston proper.  Smack dab in its nexus. Just a short walk from Park Street. If the idea of that doesn't appeal to you, then I don't know what to do next.

I'll be there, if the good Lord's willing and the creeks don't rise.

We plan to be there this Friday, May 4th, from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Please use the side entrance visible by the kiosk under those lights.
