Starting to contact more people in the hopes that they can attend Thursday night's tribute to Lynne Sticklor.
I know that people can't make it to every single event every single week. On some weeks I wouldn't be at Stone Soup if I didn't have to host it.
But when I took over Stone Soup, I inherited a poetry scene that chokes out the young, new faces by fixating on the old faces (making you wonder how anyone even has to chance to become an old face).
If the old scene crowd doesn't even show to acknowledge one of their old guard, I will not forgive that very easily.
