Eleanor Roosevelt (1884-1962) was the longest serving First Lady of the United States (12 years). She was the first US delegate to the United Nations and oversaw the drafting of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. She went on to chair the Presidential Commission on the Status of Women.

Mrs. Roosevelt (image on left) is a key character in We Did It For You! To her right is Ginni Gordon who played Mrs. Roosevelt in our production for the California Federation of Teachers Conference in March 2011. To her right is Ancelin Wolfe who is currently playing Mrs. Roosevelt in our next performance on November 3rd in Needham, Massachusetts.

About Ancelin Wolfe
"I wanted to keep the momentum going after the Women’s March in January 2017. I’m concerned how much effort it takes to make democracy work and it goes for all levels. I joined the Medfield Huddle which is where the idea of performing We Did It For You in Massachusetts was born.” Ancelin has been on the boards of the Rhode Island Rape Crisis Center, The Puppet Workshop, Inc., and First Night Providence.

“Amazing show—stories that we NEED to hear, now more than ever!”

"Run, don't walk, to see this magnificent performance!" - Women's Information Network
