Sick and Tired of It

Jesus f--king f--k. Why is The Face That Is the Space blocking my post for James Van Looy's poem column It's All One Thing today and making it less noticeable. I have guesses.

Over a decade ago when I joined Oddball Magazine, I came up with the idea of the poem column. James Van Looy was the first person I approached with the idea because I knew he would have timely pieces and he had the ability to maintain the weekly output.

To this day, James' poem column remains the purest example of my vision. I never interfered with his writing, and he never disappointed.

I am tired of The Face That Is the Space. The censorship was subtle at first in 2024, taking away to ability to post on multiple pages. Then it got downright nefarious before and after the election. Only me being here and working constantly since almost the beginning has given me any immunity. And still posts I made for years without problems were getting tagged.

And today? maybe The Face That Is the Space has a problem and has a way of previewing the content. Maybe the teaser line "Madman theory foreign Policy" is too triggering.

I encourage any of you who are able to read this to support James' latest poem column. Moreover, I hope you investigate his backlog. I have a suspicion his entire body of work has been obstructed for a while now thanks to The Face That Is the Space and other sites.
