Sick and Tired of It

Jesus f--king f--k. Why is The Face That Is the Space blocking my post for James Van Looy's poem column It's All One Thing today and making it less noticeable. I have guesses.

My Latest Gripe

Them: Substack is evil!

Me: You're telling me this on a F--king Facebook app!

This is Where We're At

For two years, Facebook made it increasingly difficult for me to post anything on it, not just political work. 

I'm confident that If I had been someone’s who joined in the last five years instead of almost two decades ago, Facebook would be useless to me. 

Now we have another Nazi salute photo to share, and I know Zuckerberg's AI bot army will have no problem with leaving up this photo of Steve Bannon giving his sieg heil.

Gotta wonder why, right? Or at least pretend to wonder.

Anyone who thinks I'm blowing this photo out of proportion can take a similar photo of yourself and leave it in the comments for me to repost.

I'll be posting photos from the Boston Poetry Marathon onto my Instagram and Facebook. They aren't anything to write home about. Just some photos I was able to take while doing other duties during the event. Still, I want to be thorough in my documentation.

Yesterday I emptied over a thousand images from my iPhone. Today, I will at the very least get rid of the rest of my videos. Some of them may show up later today on my Facebook and Instagram pages.

Stone Soup Poetry Open Mic, 5-5-21

From the weekly online open mic. Had some technical difficulties this night. I got kicked off of Zoom twice. As a result, the first half of my recording was lost. Oddly and thankfully enough, our Facebook live stream never stopped and no one else was kicked off the call. So if you're wondering why the video looks different, it's because we took this week's video straight from Facebook. That's also why there's more pre-show banter/rambling from me than normal.
