Pride Month is almost over, but you can still do your part simply by not being a complete lunatic to gay and/or trans people. It's a low bar, true, but to not be an a-hole puts you above far too many people these days.

This Saturday

Saw this flyer and wanted to know why anyone would want ot shut down a local coffee shop. 

Checking out the Stonewall Liberation Organization's Instagram page, I came across this information: 

ANTI-TRANS AND ANTI-GAY CHURCHES OUT OF OUR NEIGHBORHOOD!

Public Coffee Company is a front for anti-trans, anti-gay Methodists who are trying to "save" Jamaica Plain (a very LGBT neighborhood!) and spread their reactionary ideas in our city.

We will be having an info session on their church ties and conversion therapy practices on Sunday June 18th at 2pm at @lucyparsonscenter!

Join us on Saturday, June 24th at 12:30pm to demand that reactionary, anti-gay and anti-trans churches leave Jamaica Plain!

STONEWALL MEANS FIGHT BACK!

I might be checking this event out on Saturday.
