Two of My Best Photos of 2016

I'm going to have to go with the photos I took of Deta Galloway and Bill Barnum, each coming to Stone Soup on a whim one night only to catch up on old times after the show.

That hats really make these shots for me.

An Unbelievable Victory

Sign seen on South Huntington Street.
Te fact that this victory took place weeks after the tragic election results is mind boggling to me. I expected disaster and horrible tragedy. Instead, we had this.

There's more work to be done, to be certain, but a message of hope, and a hint that more can be done outside the box of politics as usual (without being a racist, sexist lying bastard) is something to remember for 2017 (and the next 4-8 years).

The Few Politicals Victories of 2016

With the 2016 Election being such a disaster of faith in both Democracy and my fellow man, it's good that two local Massachusetts campaigns were successful.

Question 2 was thrown out and Question 5 was passed (contrary to the slightly depressing tone of the bottom photo).

I'm so thankful for that.
