2016 Highlight: This Sickness

 

John Linton Roberson's anthology This Sickness came out in January, but I only now ordered the physical copy.

I should have gotten this sooner. It's absolutely gorgeous. It serves as a reminder how much books read on iPads and Kindles suffer in comparison to the physical package.

I recommend you buy this book now. John is a top writer, artist and editor. If the comics market was like it was in the late eighties or early nineties, he would be putting this work out on a more regular and profitable basis.

Quick Preview of Marths Boss's New Collection

Oddball Magazine's Jason Wright came to Stone Soup last night and showed me a proof copy of Martha Boss' new book, Prayer: Fix My Set. That's right. Oddball is putting out books now.

Well, one book so far. There will be more.

It looks great, and Martha was excited to read from it on the open mic.
