Your Wednesday Morning Poetry

With all the talk about cancel culture, I tried to find poetry that just wasn't an angry cis white rant. This is as close as I got, and I'm happy. Read Carson Wolfe (not the conservative pundit) over at FreezeRay Poetry. Particularly their poem about the uncancelable Chris Brown.

Speaking of New Issues

In addition to Wilderness House, the new issue of FreezeRay Poetry just came out. Highlights include a Judge Judy poem by Zeke Russell and Valerie Loveland's series of poems inspired  by the TV show "Unsolved Mysteries."

Both these journals have two things in common.

1. I've been published in them before.

2. I really wanted my work to be in them right now, but it didn't work out.

At least I can still enjoy reading them while planning my next batch of submissions.

My Poem in Freezeray Poetry

"Rocky Jesus" is available to both read and listen to (I recorded the mp3 myself) in issue 9 of Rob Sturma's Freezeray Poetry.  Many thanks to Rob for the chance to appear again so soon.

Good News Friday

One of my poems was accepted for publication by the pop culture lit mag FreezeRay.

The title will be too much of a giveaway before publication. I'll link it here when it's posted. It'll be a fun one.
