Good to Be Me Today

Some formatting of my poems had to be fixed over at Wilderness House Literary Review. 

Thankfully, it was done very quickly. I'm lucky Steve Glines works fast. 

That's why I changed my original post about WHLR to having five poems published instead of four. I got confused! 

Now I can go back to Jonesing about my name being at the top of the poetry contributors.

New Work Up

My poems "America Has Everything to Lose," "Free Advice" and "Florida" are in the summer issue of Wilderness House Literary Review. Thanks to Publisher Steve Glines and Poetry Editor Ravi Yelamanchilli for including my work. It's good to be back in the journal.

Speaking of New Issues

In addition to Wilderness House, the new issue of FreezeRay Poetry just came out. Highlights include a Judge Judy poem by Zeke Russell and Valerie Loveland's series of poems inspired  by the TV show "Unsolved Mysteries." 

Both these journals have two things in common. 

1. I've been published in them before.

2. I really wanted my work to be in them right now, but it didn't work out.

At least I can still enjoy reading them while planning my next batch of submissions.  

From Out of the Wild

The summer issue of Wilderness House Literary Review was recently released. Check it out. Recent highlights include Dennis Herrell's poem "A Man Discovers He Has Gotten Old." It's nice when someone can look at their aging body without self-loathing.

March Has Been Very, Very Good to Me

National Poetry Month, which starts tomorrow, may not even top the last few weeks of good news.
