One More Jesus Poem

Water on Sidewalk Jesus Tanka

As the sun beats down,
Water on Sidewalk Jesus
wishes he was more
than coincidental stain,
waiting for end unworshipped.

Jesus Was Here?

Funny enough, there are a lot of missing canes where I work. I always hope it's for good reasons. Anyway, Happy Easter again.

Thanks Ryk McIntyre

This is a song I can get behind. Appreciate the song recommendation.

Here I Go Again

A year ago, I wrote "Donald Trump Jesus," hoping I'd never have to think about him in a serious light ever again.

Today. I throw my hat once again into the political poetry and sacrilege arena.  "Donald Trump Jesus, Chapter Two." It comes with fantastic art by Mary Lou Springstead, who I hope to work with again in the future.

Check it out at Oddball Magazine.

Big Things

Did multiple submissions from Monday afternoon and Sunday morning. By the time I was done for the weekend, I had one acceptance email (possibly my shortest turnaround ever). One of my Jesus poems will be published outside of Oddball Magazine for the first time later this summer. More news on this once it feels like I'm no longer able to jinx it.
