Tom Brady's Poem
Tom Brady made my poem about him redundant, and now I don't have the motivation to write another.
How
Tom Brady was once renowned as the greatest. He had a supportive wife the love of millions. Local news organizations recited his name every morning at Tom Brady prayer breakfasts. Every inane and uninteresting detail of his life even trended at the top of national news sites. And now...
The Boy Who Cried Retirement
Tom Brady announcing his second retirement made the rounds on Boston's morning radio shows, which means now the wacky morning DJ's for once have someone lower than them they can shit on.

Okay, One Thing About Tom Brady
![]() |
| Image Borrowed from CheatSheet. |
This morning, I remembered this poem which recalled the New England Patriots Super Bowl XXXVI victory over the Saint Louis Rams in 2002.
Twenty years later, no Brady and no Patriots in the equation.
But we got the Rams.
For Super Bowl LVI, I'm rooting for the Saint Louis Rams.-
I won't be watching it, but I'll be rooting for them.

Annoying Thought of the Day
I almost feel bad for Florida.
Imaging having to give a f*** about Tom Brady and Donald Trump.

My Unused Tom Brady Poem
I probably put too much time in this blackout/erasure poem, which never found a home in any online journal and now never will. Based on a March 17 artice from the Boston Herald, I had to make some kind of commentary on the gushing praise (tinged with entitled bitterness) for Tom Brady's departure for Florida.

This Week's Most Distinguished Network Names
It's amazing what people will name their online networks. I'm always
trying to hijack Wi-Fi when I'm commuting, so I often come across a
number of interesting names. Every Tuesday, I post the most impressive
and/or cringe-inducing names.

New American Haiku for the End of the World
When I started my Sarcastic Haiku series, I wrote my first American Haiku. You can read my first one, and others I've written since, by clicking here.
What World War Three What?!?
Tom Brady might retire!!!
Bury the lead! Bury the lead!
Update: The Globe wasn't much better, but at least Brady didn't take three quarters of the front page.
And unlike the Herald's "U.S. Blamed" line, at least the Globe waited long enough for the Pentagon to go, Yep, we done did that.

Just in Time for Superbowl Weekend
Forget Tom Brady hype. JP Lime's Scholar offers a tribute to Isaiah Thomas. "The Little Guy," courtesy of this week's Twist of JP Lime at Oddball Magazine.

Some Close-Ups
Poet and instructor Tom Daley joined Facebook a while ago. I saw some photography he did a few days back where he praised the close-up macro capabilities of his iPhone 5.0. I don't have quite an up to date piece of equipment, but I figured I'd give it a try with my phone.
It was harder than I thought. Not just to take the pictures but to avoid getting any plants in view that were killed from the week-long heat wave. Next time I have to go for super close-up like Tom did.

JP Lime Says Fire Goodell
A nice change from Free Tom Brady, given that Tom Brady's prison is probably a mansion where he's farting in his champagne bath. Read Scholar's poem in this week's Twist of Lime column in Oddball Magazine.

Had to Post This
JP Lime's Ivan De Jesus Tweeted this photo to accompany links to Episode 6 of The Oddball Show, where we argue Brady and Belichick's NFL antics similar to what's found in the WWE. Worth posting here again. Check out the show if you haven't already.
