Come On Eileen

Again, another hay(na)ku in honor of Eileen Tabios, who has introduced many to the form. A series of 'em, actually.

Again, for more information on the form, look here. I'll probably try to work on this one some more. Especially if someone says it sucks.

A Calming Ramble

Even
pecking lips
can salve heartache.

Small
kiss on
the garage’s roof--

Those
buildings are
settings for movies,

usually
ones with
long falls, explosions.

You
approaching first
is enough drama

without
keeping secrets
from others, ourselves.

Luckily,
you don’t
read my poems.

Tonight,
the downstairs
tenant’s boyfriend visits.

They
make love
like gloating classmates.

Tonight,
I don’t
think I’ll mind.
