Joe Cohen is newly arrived in Cambridge (1 year). He writes poetry after retirement.He is 95 years old. He was in the textile business for 50 years. He taught photography in colleges back home in New York for 40 years. He wrote and had published a book of poetry, "A FULL LIFE." He enjoys rubbing shoulders with Bagelbards on Saturday mornings.
Tam lin Neville is the author of two poetry collections: Journey Cake (BkMk Press, The University of Missouri-Kansas City, l998) and more recently, Triage, from Cervena Barva Press. Her poems have appeared in HarvardReview, Mademoiselle, American Poetry Review, and Ironwood, amongothers. She is co-editor of Off The Grid Press, a small poetry press (http://offthegridpress.net).
Bert Stern has published two collections of poetry, and his poems have appeared in journals including New Letters, Hunger Mountain, The American Poetry Review, and Poetry, and received five Pushcart Nominations.He also writes prose, and is now completing a biography of an American who lived in China for over 60 years, a book scheduled for publication byPeking University Press.
The Center for the Arts is located between Davis Square and Union Square. Parking is located behind the armory at therear of the building. Arts at the Armory is approximately a 15 minute walkfrom Davis Square which is on the MTBA Red Line. You can also find us by using either the MBTA RT 88 and RT 90 bus that can be caught either at Lechmere (Green Line) or Davis Square (Red Line). Get off at the Highland Avenue and Lowell Street stop. You can also get to us from Sullivan Square (Orange Line) by using the MBTA RT 90 bus. Get off at the Highland Avenue and Benton Road stop.
