Tim Gager is a friend, fellow poet, and sometimes co-feature (we'll be reading together next in Plymouth in 2014). He's also the author of a new collection of poetry, The Shutting Door, which is already recieving accolades. I've been reading excerpts from the book on the Stone Soup open mic over the past few weeks just to get people excited when Tim reads there on the 25th. Not only is this his first Stone Soup feature in a while, it's the first feature as host that I'll be able to catch. I've seen Time read over the last few years, but personal and work-related issues have kept me from seeing Tim when he's actually at my own damn venue. Thank you freed up schedules and furloughs preventing me from on-the-job travel. See you Monday, Tim. Maybe I'll even see you at my pre-show open mic.
