Valerie Loveland has featured at Stone Soup Poetry several times. She was a regular on the open mic for years, and she won the Third Annual Jack Powers Stone Soup Savor Poetry Prize. She's been away for a bit but has remained busy, now living in Boston instead of outside of it and putting out two new collections of poetry. This Monday on April 11, we get to hear this new work and have a chance to buy her new chapbooks. It's great to invite Valerie back to Stone Soup. Many of you will remember her work from years past, and many of you get to hear her for the first time. It's a perfect way to continue our celebration of National Poetry Month.
