The annual reading is online for this pandemic year, and I'm thrilled to be a part of it again. Festivities start Thursday night, continue Friday night (both 7:00 PM start times) and then Saturday from noon to 10:00 PM.
The entire event will be live streamed, which you will be able to watch though Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Periscope and YouTube.
I'll be hosting at least one segment on Saturday August 9 and helping to bring on Carol Weston on Friday August 8. I also start off the poetry on Saturday, but that's the least of it. You should come view the live stream for the 100-plus poets in attendance this year. Check out the full tentative schedule here and come to hear some of your favorite poets along with others you've never heard before.
The Marathon is also fundraising for Black Lives Matter, which you can donate to via this link.
