Thank You Kind Creature

A year ago,I saw this sign taped on a pole South Huntington Avenue.

Whoever Stole My Bike/hahahaha you IDIOT what the hell is WRONG with you/I've had that bake for over a decade it's rusted and got it NEW for probably #120. I know it LOOKS super cool since I handpainted it, but NO ONE will EVER love that bike more than I do, or much less buy it hahahah you're soooo dumb/It was probably time for a new one anyway, I don't even want it back I just hate you and you're dumb/t least ride my bike (I mean you can take the wheel you left) or do or make something cool with it/bye now (picture of middle of finger

I wanted to post that message back in April 2019 but for some reason never got around to it. Then this year in March, I noticed the sign was still there, albeit now almost too water damaged to read. Then I noticed a compassionate response written on an adjacent pole. I don't know how long it was up there, but it was at least long enough for the original stolen bike author to respond to the response.

Opposite pole reads 'my condolences on your loss" with an arrow pointing to original sign, written below that is original signs offer saying "thank you kind creature/keep those bikes back"

All this is still there near the corner of Huntington and South Huntington if you want to see for yourself.

That's Boston for you. Cruelty and kindness dueling daily.
