Tomorrow, August 26: North Andover Poets Corner

From Mark Bohrer, Poet Laureate of North Andover.

To my poetry friends,

You are invited to our first "in-person" event (socially distanced) since this past March. Poetry outdoors! North Andover Poets Corner will be at the Steven's Estate at Osgood Hill for this month's open mic, Tuesday 8/25, at 6:00 PM.

"The Wild World" is the theme for this month. Bring a poem of yours or one by your favorite author on this theme to share.

As always, the theme is a suggestion to spur your creativity, not limit it. Bring new or old poems that speak to you, and that will speak to all.

Mask wearing and social-distancing etiquette are required.

Meet at 6:00 PM, starts at 6:15 PM. Meet on the lawn on the south side of the house. Park in the lot behind the house.

There will be chairs, but you may want to bring a portable chair of your own.

Thank you to our host, Joanna Ouellette, Director of the Stevens Estate.

Hope to see you there!
Mark
