North Andover Poets Corner at the Stevens Estate on July 20

We are continuing with our outdoor summer series this month! Experience poetry outdoors!

North Andover Poets Corner this month has a "double feature" - Bob Whelan of Rockport and Lee Eric Freedman of Swampscott are the features, followed by open mic., Tuesday 7/20, at 6:00 PM. These two are among the best. Come out to hear some awesome poetry.

For the finale, we are doing something different - Bob and Lee will compete in a "Poetic Championship", a poetry slam. They will each bring 3 of their best short poems, and the audience will rate their performances, 1 to 5 stars. Whoever gets the most stars walks off the field as the champion of the day.

Then get ready for our next event at the Stevens Estate - on Tue August 17, North Andover Poets Corner will be hosting the Powow River Poets. They will be reading from their new anthology, organized by Paulette Demers Turco.

Rain or shine! If it rains, we are under the big event tent.
