Saw Mom today. She showed me Smokey's burial spot, which is next to the inside porch and parallel to the little stove he used to sit by. She dug the hole a little larger than expected. Next up is making a marker, which I hope Molly will help paint.
Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes and condolences. I hope to post more "highlights" from his all too brief film career, some DVD extras about the myth and the legend of Smokey.
