This Tuesday: North Andover Poets Corner Featuring poet Harry Durso on Zoom

From North Andover Poet Laureate Mark Bohrer.

North Andover Poets Corner is featuring poet Harry Durso! We are on Zoom, Tues 1/25, at 7:00 PM. After the feature, we will follow with our open mic. Please join us.

Harry J. Durso is a poet from Lawrence Mass and is a member of The Robert Frost Foundation. Harry writes some of the best heartfelt topical poetry you will find anywhere!

He has read his poetry at their monthly Hoots at Café Azteca in Lawrence and on zoom and has also produced and hosted, An Evening of Poetry with the Students of Andover High School, for the last eleven years.

His poem, "Lawrence Down," which depicted the horrors of the Merrimack Valley Gas Explosion in 2018, was chosen by the Lawrence History Center to become part of the historical archive of the event.

Looking for a theme to spur you? How about "Finding Inspiration"? Where do you find it these days? Or does it go out and find you?

Hope to see you on Tuesday.
