Your Wednesday Morning Poetry

Instead of posting Johnny Cash music, I'll be posting links to poems from other writers. I hope it will be poems I've known for a long time and poems I've recently come across.

Today, I'll be posting a poem I've known for nearly thirty years that helps to sum up (though not completely) an recently closed era of my life.

Let's read James Wright's "Lying in a Hammock at William Duffy’s Farm in Pine Island, Minnesota."
