You Weekly Dose of God

A flyer for the missed memorial toll last Sunday. I would say I hope to make the next one, but I'd rather hope for this to end.


Flyer: "900 Memorial Tolls - Sunday February 13 2022 3:00-4:30 - We have now passed 900,000-recorded COVID deaths in the USA. - Congregants of First Church in JP, Unitarian Universalist - (the Church at the Monument where South Street meets Centre Street) will toll our church bell 900 times in meory of those 900,000 who have died. The tolling will take about 100 minutes. - The sound of this very old bell, situated in the Bell Tower, reflects at least one-show reverence for those 900,000 people and their loved ones. - We invite anyone who wishes to hold vigil in front of the church for that time, and experience together, the moving and heart-rending sound of the old bell. Public invited to sit on lawn or stand in thought for a while or the whole duration of these symbolic 900 bell tolls."
