NaPoWriMo 2022 is Almost Here

Classic NaPoWriMo image by Maureen Thorson.

National Poetry Writing Month (or Global Poetry Writing Month) takes off a little over two weeks from now, and I'm taking part in it once again. Whether you're a poet new or old to the game, I hope you also take part this April trying to write thirty poems in thirty days.

Last year's NaPoWriMo challenge was rough for me. Possibly the roughest. I considered quitting, but I've done too much good work in the past to stop now. I'm hoping this year will be more fun despite fighting post-COVID fatigue and other obstacles.

If you have a public website or blog you'll be sharing your work on, submit it to the NaPoWriMo website, which will also be providing writing prompts for the duration of the event. You can visit this link to see every poem I post for the event. Good luck to everyone, and enjoy the challenge!
