Marie Laurencin

 

 

I enjoyed Marie Laurencin's work at Musee de l'Orangerie. She was an artist who took on the cubist style embodied by Pablo Picasso. Her Spanish Dancers painting reminds me of Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, only much more humane.
