I already posted one of my two favorite pages from Crisis on Infinite Earths #12. Might as well post the other one. It's easy to make fun of Marv Wolfman's purple prose as a modern reader, but when he wanted to be subtle, he could be. Aside form George Perez's haunting image of Psycho Pirate, Wolfman did a good job giving us an unsettling ending to the series. The one who remembers what happened to the DC Multiverse is an insane man and therefore the ultimate unreliable narrator? An anti-narrator, if you will? Chilling.
