Brookline police are the worst when it comes to graffiti.
This was one of a few pieces Black Lives Matter stencil graffiti on a Brookline sidewalk in 2020. The cops spray painted over them, and the ugly blotches are still there, years later.
These kind of blotches are everywhere in Brookline, more noticeable than the original graffiti and flyers (yes, they spray paint over flyers for socialist groups) ever were.
I assume it's the police because who else would have the time to do similar coverups all over the town?
How can you argue that graffiti makes the city ugly when solutions like this look even worse?
