The poem was first rejected (nicely) by Poetry magazine.
The second journal responded almost three months late.
I gave them time because I thought they were giving it some thought.
Nope.
So my year-plus submission process ends here. For now.
I have to figure out what to do next.
Otherwise, I'm not going to make it through the day.
