A Moment of Comics

I find myself preferring DCeased to Marvel Zombies. Kirkman's brand for Marvel was more splatterhouse comedy in the vein of the Return of the Living Dead movies. Taylor's miniseries for DC, on the other hand, handed both genuine horror with pathos really well, all while having funnier moments than most of the Marvel Zombies run. Plus Taylor really explored the ramifications of earth's heroes zombified. With Kirkman in the sequels, it was more of an afterthought other writers had to go into. 

Here's the most meme-able page from the first DCeased series, written by Taylor, penciled by Trevor Hersine and and inked by Stefano Caudiano.These three creators are such a tonic for the years of the Geoff Johns era of DC's heroes. They deserve a run on a true Justice League series.
